ZAGREB, Feb 19 (Hina) - The president of the Zagreb City Assembly,
Zdravko Tomac, on Monday received a delegation of Socialist
representatives to the European Parliament, headed by Magdalena
Hoff.
The talks focused on Croatia's admission to European
integration processes, the takeover of power in Zagreb, freedom of
the media in Croatia and the situation in Bosnia, particularly in
the southern city of Mostar.
Tomac said that his party, the Social Democratic Party (SDP),
and other opposition parties believed that Croatia's admission to
European integration process would help in the the development of
democracy in the country.
Tomac called on his guests to support such efforts.
