ZAGREB, Feb 16 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa on
Friday received the chief of the European Union Monitor Mission
(ECMM) in Croatia, Giorgio Franchetti Prado.
Matesa told reporters after the talks that they discussed the
role of the ECMM so far and its new, somewhat modified, mission in
the Serb-occupied Danubian area of eastern Croatia.
He said that the presence of European monitors in the area was
of great importance to Croatia.
