"We would like to reach agreement acceptable to both sides,"
Agnelli said on Thursday after her meeting with Croatian President
in Zagreb.
The EU Administrator of Mostar Hans Koschnik would send his
deputy Klaus Metscher to Rome on Friday, she added.
"After that we will again meet President Tudjman and make a
joint proposal on the settlement to the situation in Mostar," the
Italian Foreign Minster said.
Asked whether the decision of Koschnik on the set-up of Mostar
might be changed Agnelli responded that this would be considered,
as a decision must be acceptable to all.
Asked whether President Tudjman would use his influence
Bosnian Croats in order to ensure the security and safety of EU
Administrator and staff in Mostar, Agnelli said President Tudjman
had agreed on this matter.
Croatian President's chief-of-staff Ivo Sanader announced
after the meeting that President and Vice-President of the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina Kresimir Zubak and Ejup Ganic
would travel to Mostar on Friday.
