At a joint news conference, the presidents of the Independent
Croatian Union (NHS), Croatian Association of Workers' Unions
(URSH), Croatian Association of Unions (HUS) and the Alliance of
Independent Croatian Unions (SSSH) said Vidovic had done nothing
useful in the past two years.
"It is time for somebody who will know how to do the job properly to
sit on that wobbly chair," NHS president Kresimir Sever said.
URSH and HUS have announced the possibility of terminating the
development partnership social pact, believing that the government
was becoming increasingly closed off to social dialogue.
The two unions would thus join the SSSH who terminated the agreement
in April.
