Before the close of the session, the Parliament Presidency adopted a
proposal by ethnic minority representatives that MPs should pledge
that they would not show any intolerance in their speeches that might
incite hatred.
The minority representatives said their proposal was aimed at
protecting the dignity of MPs and the parliament, the interests of the
state, and democratic values.
The parliament unanimously adopted a report by the Credentials and
Privileges Commission, putting in abeyance the terms of office of MPs
who became members of the new government and naming their stand-ins.
The Sabor will begin regular sessions after January 15 next year.
