ZAGREB, Feb 21 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic will fly to Paris on Monday where he will hold talks with his French counterpart Jacques Chirac and give a lecture on the topic "Croatia and Europe" at an international
institute for international relations.

Mesic's advisor on foreign affairs, Tomislav Jakic, told Hina on
Friday that the talks between the two presidents would revolve
around the application Croatia had just submitted for its full EU
membership, the bilateral relations as well as around the
developments surrounding the Iraqi crisis.
Croatian Premier Ivica Racan in Athens earlier on Friday handed
over his country's application to Costas Simitis, the premier of
Greece, which is currently presiding over the European Union.
