ZAGREB, Feb 6 (Hina) - The Croatian Foreign Affairs Ministry on Thursday welcomed the adoption of the Constitutional Charter on the Union of Serbia and Montenegro as a step towards the further stabilisation of the region.

Thursday welcomed the adoption of the Constitutional Charter on the
Union of Serbia and Montenegro as a step towards the further

"The Ministry hopes that the co-operation between Croatia and
Serbia and Montenegro will continue with the aim of resolving the
remaining open issues," the ministry said in a statement.
Croatia is interested in strengthening good neighbourly relations
just as it is interested in good relations between Serbia and
Montenegro. Good relations can only contribute to the further
progress of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro and the entire
region, the statement noted.
