The Croatian delegation will hold talks with EU representatives
within the framework of the political dialogue between the two
parties formally established on October 29, 2001, when the
Stabilisation and Association Agreement between Croatia and the
European Union was signed. It is expected that the EU will be
represented by Greek Foreign Minister Georgios Papandreou, Italian
Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, European Foreign Affairs
Commissioner Chris Patten and the EU High Representative for the
Common Foreign and Defence Policy, Javier Solana.
Picula, who will return to Croatia Friday, will also hold a series
of other meetings regarding Croatia's drawing closer to the EU.
