ZAGREB, Feb 10 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Monday received a delegation of the Iranian parliament's committee on foreign affairs headed by chairman Mohsen Mirdamadi, Mesic's office said in a statement.

The two sides said bilateral relations between the two countries so
far had been good in many areas so far, but also that economic
possibilities were untapped.
Special focus was placed on the situation in Iraq. Both countries
are interested in seeing all aspects of the crisis resolved through
the United Nations, it was said.
The two sides concluded controlling disarmament through the U.N.
would make it possible to avert further radicalisation in the
region and alleviate all the dangers which major refugee migrations
would pose.
The Iranian committee is in a several-days return visit to Croatia
at the invitation of the Croatian parliament.
