Veselinov dismissed accusations by Branislav Pomoriski, the
president of Novi Sad authorities, that he was obstructing the
Croatian company from registering its product to prevent it from
being given domestic good status.
Blic said Veselinov had discussed the matter with Croatian
Agriculture Minister Bozidar Pankretic.
Also according to the daily, Veselinov has said that a tobacco law,
which is to regulate the granting of licences, is in procedure and
will be discussed by Serbia's parliament this year.
