and Federation ombudsmen on Friday visited Jajce (central Bosnia) in order to check the current situation of the agreed return of Bosniak refugees to Jajce municipality.
JAJCE, 22 Aug (Hina) - Christian Schwartz-Schilling,
international representative for the Croat-Bosniac Federation,
the Federation President and Vice President Vladimir Soljic and
Ejup Ganic respectively, Soljic's advisor Goran Magas and
Federation ombudsmen on Friday visited Jajce (central Bosnia) in
order to check the current situation of the agreed return of
Bosniak refugees to Jajce municipality. #L#
The return of Bosniak refugees to five villages in Jajce
municipality - Kruscica, Lendici, Bucici, Divicane and Sibenica -
started on 16 Aug and was completed on 21 Aug.
Schwartz-Schilling expressed satisfaction with the return
of Bosniak refugees.
According to the president of the Jajce Municipal Council,
Jozo Lucic, 455 Bosniak refugee families have returned to Jajce
area.
Following an inspection into the current situation,
mistakes done to the detriment of the Croat people in Jajce
municipality would be corrected by lifting sanctions imposed by
the international community on the process of reconstruction of
Jajce municipality, Lucic said after the meeting.
