GOUDSTIKKER WRITES ABOUT CHANGES TO BOSNIAKS' RETURN TO JAJCE

TRAVNIK, Aug 18 (Hina) - There had been some changes in relation to the return of Bosniaks (Muslims) to five villages in the central Bosnian municipality of Jajce, the head of UNHCR's office in Zenica, Jean-Michel Goudstikker, said in a letter he forwarded to Central Bosnia Canton Prefect Ivan Saric on Monday. Instead of a return to 97 houses in Divicani, Monday's return would be to 113 houses in the village of Lendici, while the return to Divicani would take place on 20 August, Goudstikker wrote, adding there had been no alterations concerning returns of Bosniaks to Kruscica, Bucici and Sibenica. The UNHCR representative wrote the alterations were stated by Jajce Mayor Ivo Saraf. Neither the UNHCR nor himself had been notified about the matter, Goudstikker further wrote, adding he hoped for a successful implementation of the programme on the Bosniaks' return to Jajce, in line with Article 2 of a Sarajevo agreement on central Bosnia signed on the highest federal level on 5 August.
