RIJEKA, Sept 8 (Hina) - During a working visit to Slovenia, Italian Foreign Trade Minister Piero Fassino on Tuesday in Ljubljana met a delegation of the Italian minority in Croatia and Slovenia. Attending the meeting with Fassino were
a Croatian MP Furio Radin, a Slovene MP Roberto Battelli, and Giuseppe Rotta and Maurizio Premul of the Italian Union. Radin stated on Wednesday the meeting was also attended by the Italian Ambassador to Slovenia, Norberto Capello. The meeting discussed concrete possibilities of the Italian minority to participate in the development of economic relations between Italy on one side and Croatia and Slovenia on the other, as well as the current political situation in the two countries, especially as regards the protection of the rights of the Italian minority.(hina) jn rml
