ZAGREB, Sept 8 (Hina) - The head of European Community's monitoring mission (ECMM) in Croatia, Jorma Inki, on Wednesday held talks with Justice Minister Zvonimir Separovic about Croatia's stands in the relations with the Hague-based
International War Crimes Tribunal (ICTY) and other legal issues. Finland's Ambassador Inki took over this office for six months on July 1 when his country assumed the rotating presidency of the European Union. ECMM monitors asked many questions about Croatia's legislation particularly about a law on granting Croatia's citizenship, the Amnesty Act, court proceedings in Croatia against perpetrators of war crimes, human and minorities' rights and particularly about the rights of the Serb minority. They will notify the European Union of the information they can get in the country and about Croatia's stance. ECMM showed interest in observing elections in Croatia.(hina)
