ZAGREB, Aug 12 (Hina) - Croatia's Defence Minister Pavao Miljavac on Thursday held talks with Bulgaria's Deputy Defence Minister Zdravko Zafirov who visited Croatia on the occasion of the Second Military World Games which are taking
place in Zagreb. During the one-hour meeting, Miljavac and Zafirov discussed the reorganisation of the armed forces of the two countries. We have offered to Bulgarian Defence Ministry some solutions and experiences we gained during the reorganisation, Miljavac said after the meeting. The Croatian official added that he and his guest had pointed to the necessity to foster cooperation between the two ministries and such efforts should result in a meeting at the ministerial level. Commending Croatia for the organisation of the Military Games, the Bulgarian representative said he had used this visit to Zagreb for the exchange of experiences in the reorganisation of armies.

Zafirov recalled that Croatia was the first country to sign a treaty
with Bulgaria on the military cooperation.
He said that it was important to build democracy and promote good
relations with all countries, adding that the ties and cooperation
between his country and Croatia could serve as a good example for
all states in the region.
Zafirov was accompanied by Bulgaria's Ambassador to Croatia,
Velizar Encev.
