SISAK, Aug 18 (Hina) - The head of Sweden's engineering and pyrotechnical centre, Brigadier General Bjorn Svenson, on Wednesday visited the Croatian Demining Centre (HCR) in Sisak, central Croatia, and the Western European Union for
Demining Assistance Mission (WEUDAM) active within it. During his two-day visit to Croatia, Svenson was acquainted with WEUDAM's activity in Croatia, the work of the HCR, and Croatia's world known and recognised system of humanitarian mine-clearing. HCR manager Damir Gorseta acquainted the Swedish general with the results of the said system, pointing out Croatia was in need of technological and financial assistance in mine-clearing. Also present at today's meeting was WEUDAM's head in Croatia,
