Steinbach voiced the OSCE Mission's concern about a recent incident in Berak, when a Serb resident was killed in a fight with a Croat resident of the town. in the Danube River Region in eastern Croatia in the past three
years, the deputy chief of the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Croatia, Hans Dieter
Steinbach, told reporters in Vukovar on Wednesday.

an OSCE Coordination Centre in Vukovar.
Steinbach voiced the OSCE Mission's concern about a recent incident

The ambassador declined to comment on the police investigation in
the case, but added the OSCE trusted the Croatian police would do
its work professionally and bring the culprits to justice, which,
he said, was of outstanding importance for the establishment of
trust in the area.
While in Vukovar, Steinbach held talks with the president of the
Joint Council of (Serb majority) Municipalities, Milos Vojnovic,
discussing current issues concerning the position of the Serb
minority in the area.
