VUKOVAR, Aug 11 (Hina) - Many positive steps forward have been made in the Danube River Region in eastern Croatia in the past three years, the deputy chief of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Croatia, Hans Dieter Steinbach, told reporters in Vukovar on Wednesday. The fields where further work is called for are the establishment of inter-ethnic trust, the economic revival, and equal conditions for all in the realisation of their rights, Ambassador Steinbach, on his first visit to eastern Croatia, told reporters after visiting an OSCE Coordination Centre in Vukovar. Steinbach voiced the OSCE Mission's concern about a recent incident in Berak, when a Serb resident was killed in a fight with a Croat resident of the town. The ambassador declined to comment on the police investigation in the case, but added the OSCE trusted the Croatian police would do
