ZAGREB, Sept 3 (Hina) - Some dozen Croatian armed forces officers will take part for the first time in a UN peace mission. The mission is the United Nations Observer Mission in Sierra Leone, (UNOMSIL) established by a Security Council
Resolution on June 13 of last year. In the mission the Croatian armed forces will participate at the invitation of the UN office for peace operations, head of the Croatian Defence Ministry public relations office, Dusan Viro said Friday. Along colleagues from 13 countries, Croatian officers will assume a monitoring role in the field between conflicting sides after a civil war.
