ZAGREB, 18 June (Hina) - The coordinator of international cooperation at the Croatian Union of Employers (HUP), Lidija Horvatic, was elected into the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Governing Body at ILO's annual conference,
held on June 1-17 in Geneva. Apart from the presentation of Croatian employers, the HUP is also in charge of presenting the employers of Central and East Europe, with the mandate until the year 2002. The Governing Body is an ILO executive body consisting of 56 members, including 28 representatives of governments and 14 representatives of employers and employees each. The ILO, founded in 1919, has more than 170 members.(hina) rml
