WASHINGTON, June 15 (Hina) - In Washington, talks were held yesterday on the establishment of business cooperation between the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) and the U.S. First Union National Bank. Monday's
talks, which took place in Croatia's Embassy in Washington, were led by the HBOR Management Chairman, Antun Kovacev, the First Union National Bank Vice-President and Director, Edmund Muskie and Nancy Tuomey respectively, Croatian Ambassador to the United States, Miomir Zuzul, and the economic advisor at the Embassy, Aleksandar Heina. The HBOR places particular interest in possibilities of being granted loans which may facilitate financing of export projects of Croatian companies as well as some projects in tourism.
