ZAGREB, June 4 (Hina) - The Croatian Post and Telecommunications Union (HSPT) will stage a general strike and a public protest against a Government motion to privatise Croatian Telecommunications (HT), the HSPT told a press conference
on Friday. If the Government fulfils HSPT demands by June 7, 10am, HT employees will not go on strike, the HSPT told the press conference. The Union demands that the percentage of stock which can be purchased by the HT employees and former employees of the Croatian Post and Telecommunications be increased. The Union is not opposing the privatisation of HT, HSPT representatives stressed, adding the time was not right for such action.(hina) it/lml
