ZAGREB, June 9 (Hina) - The Republic Union of Croatia Post and Telecommunications Workers (RSR HPT), has cancelled its strike previously announced for Friday, June 11. The union called for the strike following violations to a
collective agreement for Croatia Post and Telecommunications. The strike was cancelled when the employer obliged to literally implement provisions of the collective agreement and the union obliged to adhere to social peace until the employer executed its obligation, a statement issued by the union said. Amongst other things, the unionists demanded a five day working week at Croatia Post (HP) and Croatia Telecommunications (HT). supervision of profit distribution and greater freedom of union activities.
