BELGRADE, Sept 18 (Hina) - Yugoslav Interior Minister Zoran Zivkovic said on Tuesday his country was not having "military cooperation" with any country the United States claimed was helping terrorism. "Since 1992, when sanctions were
imposed on the country, Yugoslavia has not had military cooperation with any of those countries. We will renew military cooperation with many countries because military industry is important and because weapons traded by legal channels are goods as any other," Zivkovic said during a break in today's conference on regional cooperation between Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia in Nis. Zivkovic said his country would join in the world fight against terrorism by becoming a member of Interpol on September 24, as well as through participation in international meetings which would institutionalise the fight against terrorism.(hina) rml
