LJUBLJANA, Sept 15 (Hina) - The Yugoslav authorities have refused an offer by Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel that he mediate in disputes regarding future Serbian-Montenegrin relations in the Yugoslav federation, the Slovene
press agency STA quoted a Belgrade paper as saying on Saturday. "The offer of the Slovene Minister for Serbian-Montenegrin talks to be held in Slovenia as neutral ground is well-intentioned but unnecessary," Yugoslav Prime Minister Dragisa Pesic told the Blic daily. STA reports that both ruling and opposition parties in Belgrade share this view. They believe Serbs and Montenegrins can reach agreement on their future relations "on domestic ground."
