PODGORICA, Oct 20 (Hina) - The turnout at the extraordinary parliamentary election in Montenegro by 14.00 hours on Sunday amounted to a record 44.8 percent, monitoring agencies reported. Such a high turnout has not been marked over
the past ten years of Montenegro's multi-party system. The non-governmental monitoring agencies said no serious incidents were reported. Polls will close at 21.00 hours, and first unofficial results should be released as early as 22.30 hours. The early parliamentary poll was expected to be a close race between an independence-minded coalition led by President Milo Djukanovic and a bloc favouring ties with Serbia. Both say they want reform and integration with the rest of Europe.(hina) it
