Natasa Micic, has said that new presidential elections will be
called on Thursday, October 17, in order to be held on December 1.

"The election will be called 96 hours after the closing of polling
stations, and by then the Srbian electoral commission will have to
submit a final report", Micic told Belgrade-based daily "Danas".
According to her, the constitutional condition will be met on the
same day, which stipulates that the election be held within 30 days
prior to the expiry of the term of office of the current president of
Serbia.
Serbia's incumbent President and indictee of the U.N. war crimes
tribunal in The Hague, Milan Milutinovic, was elected in December
1997.
