SARAJEVO, July 30 (Hina) - The international Stabilisation Force's sector for transhipping, which has so far been active in the Croatian southern port of Ploce, will be closed as of 31 July, a spokesman for international peace keepers
in Bosnia-Herzegovina said on Tuesday. The closing of the SFOR sector in Ploce, which has been conducted by French troops since December 1995, is a part of measures aimed at the reduction of the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia. Some 30 soldiers will be deployed at other posts, the spokesman John Coppard said in Sarajevo. The cancellation of the sector in Ploce does not imply the termination of all activities of the SFOR in Ploce, he added. Some parts of SFOR air, security and logistic segments will still be located in this Croatian southern seaport.(hina) ms
