On Tuesday SFOR troops searched the family house of the Karadzics,
and after the operation it was announced that different forged
documents, including passports, were confiscated.
Forged passports are obviously linked with members of the Karadzic
family. This confirms that they deliberately and intentionally
cheat the international community, Major Lundy said.
He said the hunt for Karadzic, wanted by the UN war crimes tribunal,
would not be limited to efforts directed at his arrest but it would
be aimed at the clamp-down on the illegal network that helped him to
be still at large.
The operation we carried out indicates that we shall follow all
places and war crimes suspects connected with Karadzic, the SFOR
spokesman said.
