The media in the Republika Srpska said that SFOR helicopters early
Wednesday morning were flying over the eastern Bosnia dropping out
the flyers.
The SFOR command in Sarajevo confirmed that the flyers were
distributed with an aim to assist the implementation of the US
government programme "The Award for Justice".
The programme foresees an award of up to five million US dollars for
information which would lead to the arrest of most wanted war
criminals - Karadzic and Ratko Mladic.
The flyers said that Karadzic was personally responsible for the
suffering of all peoples during the war, including Bosnian Serbs.
The SFOR reminded the Serb population that Karadzic had also
encouraged their leaving Sarajevo - including negotiations on the
exchange of territory - which is why they now had to live as refugees
in someone else's homes.
The SFOR recalled that it would continue to invest efforts in
Karadzic's arrest as well as the arrest of all other war crimes
suspects.
