The strategy of development of pension insurance and social care
systems is aimed at eliminating dependence on the state, which was
inherited from socialism and intensified in the last decade due to
the war, Labour and Social Welfare Minister Davorko Vidovic said.
According to the latest model, the omnipresent state which
distributes social contributions will be replaced with the
stimulation of individual engagement by individuals, families, and
civil society.
The information and communication technology strategy was already
discussed in parliament and was amended at today's government
session with proposals from the parliamentary debate.
