CAVTAT, May 10 (Hina) - The 29th session of the World Tourist Organisation's Commission for Europe ended in Cavtat on Friday. Participants agreed that after the crisis after last year's September 11, tourism was recovering, and the
second half of this year could see the situation restored to the state as it had been before the terrorist attacks on the United States.
CAVTAT, May 10 (Hina) - The 29th session of the World Tourist
Organisation's Commission for Europe ended in Cavtat on Friday.
Participants agreed that after the crisis after last year's
September 11, tourism was recovering, and the second half of this
year could see the situation restored to the state as it had been
before the terrorist attacks on the United States. #L#
The three-day conference which gathered about 80 participants from
35 countries, mostly focused on the crisis in the travel industry
which touched the overall global tourism after September 11.
WTO Secretary-General Francesco Frangialli, said that the
situation could return to its state prior to the terrorist attacks
in the second half of this year.
