Tomcic does not expect amendments to the Labour Act will be on the
agenda. He announced the session would last two weeks. A special
session will be held on May 29, on the occasion of Croatian
Parliament Day, May 30.
May 30 will be marked for the first time, in memory of May 30, 1990,
when the first multi-party parliament was constituted. In the past
decade, May 30 was celebrated as Croatian Statehood Day, but
amendments to the Law on National Holidays stipulated that in the
future, May 30 is marked as Croatian Parliament Day.
