in countries of southeastern Europe took place in Zurich,

It was organised by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and
Development and Swiss institutions, including the Economy
Ministry, the Investment Promotion Agency and the Chamber of
Commerce for Central Europe.
The conference was attended by delegations from Albania, Bulgaria,
Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, and Serbia and Montenegro.
Croatia was represented by officials from the Economy Ministry, the
Embassy to Bern and the Consulate General to Zurich, the Croatian
Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Potential Swiss investors and representatives of Swiss government
bodies were presented with possibilities of investment in
infrastructure, environmental protection, agriculture,
production of health food, machine manufacturing and technology.
Swiss investors spoke of their experience in southeastern Europe. A
representative of the Holzim company spoke of his positive
experience in investment in the Vetropak-Straza glass factory in
Hum na Sutli (50km northwest of Zagreb, near the Slovene border),
the statement said.
