ZAGREB, Sept 5 (Hina) - The two parliamentary deputies of the Croatian True Revival (HIP), Dario Vukic and Ante Beljo, who held their first conference in the parliament as HIP representatives after they recently left the strongest
opposition HDZ party and joint the HIP, said on Friday that the total state debt could not be held under control because of the non-existence of the incumbent government's fiscal policy and financial consolidation.
ZAGREB, Sept 5 (Hina) - The two parliamentary deputies of the
Croatian True Revival (HIP), Dario Vukic and Ante Beljo, who held
their first conference in the parliament as HIP representatives
after they recently left the strongest opposition HDZ party and
joint the HIP, said on Friday that the total state debt could not be
held under control because of the non-existence of the incumbent
government's fiscal policy and financial consolidation. #L#
Vukic predicted that the debt would soar, primarily because of the
wrong manner of investment.
"The government is creating an illusion that we are meeting all
political criteria for the entry into the European Union, but is
disguising those numerical namely financial criteria as we have not
fulfilled them," he added.
HIP President Miroslav Tudjman accused the current authorities of
disastrous moves in the foreign policy referring to the relations
with neighbours: Bosnia-Herzegovina and Slovenia.
