BELGRADE, March 14 (Hina) - The President of Serbia and Montenegro, Svetozar Marovic, on Thursday submitted to the parliament a list of candidates for posts in the government, which should be appointed on Monday, Radio B92

candidates for posts in the government, which should be appointed

The incumbent Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic was nominated for
the same post, while Zoran Zivkovic, the incumbent Interior
Minister, was nominated Defence Minister.
An official of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Igor Luksic, was
nominated Deputy Foreign Minister, while Vukasin Maras, a former
Montenegrin interior minister, was nominated Deputy Defence
Minister.
The incumbent Minister for National and Ethnic Communities, Rasim
Ljajic, was nominated Minister for the Protection of Human and
Minority Rights. Branko Lukovac, a former Montenegrin foreign
minister, was nominated Minister for Foreign Trade Relations,
while Amir Nurkovic of the Montenegrin Social-Democratic Party was
nominated Minister for Internal Trade Relations.
The new agency Beta quoted Svilanovic as confirming the parliament
would appoint the new government at a session on Monday.
Svilanovic told Serbian Radio-Television that the decision on the
session was passed by Parliament President Dragoljub Micunovic.
The Serbia-Montenegro government was to be appointed at a
parliamentary session on Thursday, but the sitting was postponed
due to the assassination of Serbian Premier Zoran Djindjic.
