ZAGREB, March 6 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament ended Thursday's
session with a discussion on a draft law on the establishment of an
agency for areas of special state concern. #L#
The law was proposed by the Social Liberals (HSLS) party bench. MPs
will take a vote on it tomorrow.
Most MPs believe that such an agency is superfluous and that it
would be better to make the work of existing institutions more
efficient to have war-torn areas develop as quickly as possible.
The parliament will continue its 30th session tomorrow with a
debate on an HSLS suggestion to rescind the law ratifying an
agreement between the Croatian and Slovene governments on the Krsko
nuclear power plant.
