The Banja Luka-based daily Nezavisne novine quotes Pecanac on
Friday as saying that immediately after the assassination on
Wednesday, Serbia's police notified the Sarajevo office of
Interpol that a person the police were after was on Bosnian
territory.
Upon being notified police in both Bosnian entities were put on
alert but no results have been achieved as yet, says Pecanac.
He ha declined to say which measures the police have taken and the
identity of the wanted person.
Bosnia's State Border Service has stepped up control on border
crossings with Serbia and Montenegro since Wednesday. Similar
steps have been taken at all Bosnian airports as well.
