"After yesterday's murder of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran
Djindjic, the Croatian police have established cooperation with
Serbian police, but we cannot give out any detailed information,"
the ministry's spokeswoman, Zinka Bardic, told Hina.
"After the murder the ministry through the Interpol Office in
Zagreb established contact and offered assistance to Interpol in
Belgrade," Bardic said. She refused to say what kind of assistance
and cooperation the Serbian police had requested.
Vehicles and passengers at border crossings with Serbia and the
bordering areas are still more intensively being controlled, she
said.
"The situation on the border is peaceful and traffic regular,"
Bardic said.
