There are six special police units in Croatia with 330 officers.
There is one each in Rijeka, Osijek and Split, two in Zagreb,
including the Alfa unit, and an airborne special police unit,
Bardic said.
Bardic was responding to media claims that special police units
worked only until 4 p.m. She said that special police were on alert
24 hours a day as was the case everywhere else in the world.
She said that special police equipment met all standards.
