At a regular press conference of the Zagreb police, not one new
detail was released in the criminal investigation of a bomb planted
under the car of the director and co-owner of the biggest Croatian
publishing company, Europapress Holding.
The car was completely razed in a fire that broke out as a result of
the bomb that exploded at about 4 AM Saturday in front of Pavic's
home in Zagreb's residential area of Tuskanac. Nobody was hurt in
the blast.
The police do not think the act was a terrorist attack, however, a
final opinion will be given by the State Prosecution, Babic said at
the press conference which was organised to present the "Police in
the Community" project.
He said he could not make any final assessments until the
investigation was completed.
