ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - Two Dutch men and two Croatians are suspected of an attempt to smuggle 15,000 cartons of cigarettes, intended for the west European market, the Zagreb police reported on Wednesday.

The police charged the Dutch citizens with avoiding customs
control, while the two Croatians are suspected as accomplices in
the crime.
The police however, did not reveal the identity of the apprehended
men, nor did they state the value of the confiscated cigarettes.
The Zagreb police department for the prevention of economic crime
in cooperation with the smuggling prevention service and customs
control service conducted an investigation.
