Croatia's daily Slobodna Dalmacija ran an article two days ago
claiming that Terme Catez would withdraw its offer for Suncani
Hvar.
"We did not and will not withdraw our offer for the purchase of a
62.3 percent share, although some would like that. We believe that
Suncani Hvar will most probably not be sold, however, not for
economic but political reasons," Terme Catez director Borut
Mokrovic told Slovene Radio.
The Slovene said the Croatian government could simply say that it
would not sell the hotel chain, but by making such a move it would
lose its credibility.
