"The answer to this question should be sought in Catez, but it is
legitimate to ask whether there is still interest in the purchase of
minority shares," the Ambassador Bekes was quoted on Wednesday by
the Ljubljana daily "Dnevnik" as saying.
"In recent years, Slovene companies have considerably invested in
Croatia, and politics and economy require patience," the diplomat
said.
Bekes, who was at a regular meeting of Slovene diplomats at Brdo kod
Kranja, added that he could see no reason for opinions that at the
moment Croatia was at a turning point regarding privatisation and
foreign investments.
No comments of officials of the Terme Catez are available on the
developments surrounding the sale of Suncani Hvar shares, but the
Slovene press denies allegations that the company's director,
Borut Mokrovic, abandoned plans for Suncani Hvar.
