According to the same sources, some improvements in the Terme Catez
offer have already been agreed on at today's meeting between
representatives of the HFP and the Slovene company.
It has already been announced that the Slovene company would
shorten the period in which EUR45 million should be invested in the
Croatian hotel chain from five to three years.
The Croatian government made a decision on the sale of 62.3 percent
of the Suncani Hvar shares to Terme Catez last Thursday. The
decision was adopted despite the opposition of four government
members from the ranks of the Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS).
On Monday the HSS presidency demanded of the government to revoke
its decision regarding the entire privatisation process of Suncani
Hvar.
The five parties of the ruling coalition should meet on Wednesday
afternoon to discuss Suncani Hvar's privatisation and HSS'
demand.
