The charter was signed by a representative of presidential candidate Ljubo Cesic Rojs. Presidential candidate Stjepan Mesic was unable to attend today's signing but has said that he will sign the charter. All presidential candidates will be able to sign the charter in coming days.
The charter calls for the establishment of an office for the promotion of the rights of young people at the President's Office, the establishment of a parliamentary committee on issues of concern to young people, the depoliticising of students' representative bodies, the adoption of a national programme for young people, etc.
