He accused the top Croatian officials of thinking only about how to remain in power and about their personal profits.
Cesic went on to say "that with all conciliatoriness even towards Serbs and the past, he cannot forgive Croatian pharisees," and if he won the presidential elections he was going to sue them.
Cesic also presented his assumption that the late President Franjo Tudjman and Defence Minister Gojko Susak had been exposed to radiation, which is why they fell ill and died, he explained.
He accused the current government of being indifferent towards the fact that "1,200 war veterans committed suicide".
"They (those in power) have divided us. Today, we, Homeland Defence War defenders, have 120 associations, while partisans (Second World War II veterans) led by (Ivan) Fumic have only the one association," Cesic lamented.
He also said the "he is telling (runaway general) Ante Gotovina that he must not surrender, because Croatia would then fall."
During his meeting with war veterans' association in the nearby town of Solin, Cesic was given a carter of Solin's honorary citizen and was asked to hand the charter to Gotovina who was declared an honorary citizen of that town.
Cesic pledged to ensure the delivery of the charter to Gotovina.
A member of Cesic's election team, General Mirko Kresic, said in Solin that "in Croatia the problem are not Serbs but Croatians-traitors".
