The event pooled about 50 delegations from Council of Europe member countries, representatives of UNESCO, the European Youth Forum, the European Cultural Foundation and numerous experts.
Biskupic advocated expanding the paradigm of creating unity in diversity also outside the European Union, and proposed launching a project which would contribute to the expansion of cultural diversity throughout Europe.
The Croatian minister also held talks with his Polish counterpart Waldemar Dabrowski. They agreed to sign a programme of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
