For the first time Croatia officially took part in the meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership which is based on the Barcelona process launched in 1995.
Zuzul said Croatia hailed the strategic partnership with the Mediterranean and Near east countries and the initiative which promoted peace, progress and the future of the region, the statement.
"Through history, Croatia belonged to the region in which various cultures and religions were meeting. I am proud to say that after tragic events in the region, Croatia made significant progress, notably in promoting and achieving reconciliation," Zuzul said.
The topics of the final plenary ministerial session of the Euro-Mediterranean process were: the future of the Barcelona process, economic reform and investments as well as dialogue among cultures of the Mediterranean countries.
