The incident occurred at 1130 hours when a Slovene police boat entered Croatian territorial waters, followed by another boat carrying the Slovene nautical inspector, and reached a Croatian fishing boat stationed there, Mehun said.
A fishermen from Savudrija, Croatia, said the two Slovene boats sailed close to where his boat was to caution him that he was in Slovene waters. When Croatian police arrived, the Slovene inspector left, he added.
Earlier in the morning, Croatian police cautioned three Slovene boats that they were fishing in Croatian waters, after which the boats left.
