The seminar is aimed at exchanging experience and gaining new knowledge on the impact of intellectual property and innovations on industrial growth.
Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship Minister Branko Vukelic stressed his ministry supported innovations and added that it was particularly important to connect intellectual property, innovations and new technologies with the production.
He said his ministry would continue to financially support inventors.
Science, Education and Sports Minister Dragan Primorac stressed it was necessary to adopt a national strategy on intellectual property. The strategy is being drafted by the State Bureau for Intellectual Property and its completion is nearing the end.
The seminar, which will close on September 24, has pooled experts in intellectual property from Croatia and abroad, as well as representatives of national and international industry and representatives of the UN/ECE.
